This is an incredible piece of history a very rare L.W. Bills fire alarm box in near perfect condition. It was made in Massachusetts. It has all the inside pieces, the original key, and it works when its wound up. I have never seen a firebox from L.W. Bills from this era. Its very heavy approx 60lbs!! Shipping is going to be an issue. I would be glad to bring it to the Enfield CT show. I talked to several collectors that have boxes and also collect insulators. They all agreed this is a very rare piece and that Gamewell from this era in this condition with key and in working order sell for $800~$1000. This piece is far less common so I think a fair asking price is $800. Please feel free to contact me on this. When I look at this I can picture CD 133 ,CD 134 and CD 134.4 insulators on the pole above as horse and carriage go past!!!
