Talk about strange looking. These devices certainly would attract attention, almost to the point of defeating the purpose of putting an " Insulator protector " up there in the first place. I believe they date back to the 1900's, but have no proof or doccumentation on this.

Now, the skill testing question is, do you have any idea where in the world these were found?
