I don't consider myself an expert on jars or even insulators for that matter but when I saw this yellow amber Hemingray made Globe Tobacco jar on a sales table I knew it was something special. I had been on the hunt for one of these and this one jumped out at me. I just had to have it. I was fortunate that the seller let me take it across the show hall to Greg Spurgeons' table to consult him on the authenticity of this jar before I made the investment. Greg, through his North American Glass auctions, has probably had more Hemingray jars go through his hands than anyone else on this planet. The jar, lid and handle are all authentic and in excellent condition. The color is unreal for one of these !! This purchase made my whole weekend !
