Pair of CD 102 [050] (F-Crown) PAT / JAN 25th 1870 (R-Crown) FEB 22nd 1870 / MCH 20th 1877 {MLOD} SB The one of the left has stronger embossing than most of these. Nice alkaline mineral staining on the surface with a slight bluish cast to it. The glass surface is stained and milky, not the internal glass. Minor pock marks and blemishes typical of buried pieces. 2 slight amber stringers that I can see in the skirt. One on each side. Pretty good condition actually. The dome on the one on the right is all milky in the glass above the wire groove. The embossing is readable but not really strong. I think the milk being all confined to the dome is pretty neat.
