A few weeks ago I got a tip from a picker that there were some insulators in a thrift store in Colchester, Vt. After a dentist appointment on Tuesday I finally got over there, I expected to see the usual crowd of common, chipped, cracked, and otherwise abused Hemingrays, Brookfield, and Whitall Tatums. Much to my surprise, sitting in with the common stuff was a mint McLAUGHLIN-20, CD 164 [160] Emerald Green, in perfect condition. I already had one of these at home, but with a price well below the catalog value I grabbed it. Made the morning a lot more enjoyable!
