This bottle will help date your insulators, and show the history behind Millville Glass. This bottle is an excellent go with. It commemorated the oldest continuous operated glass plant in the U.S. The bottle has embossed in glass Millville, New Jersey 1806 to 1999, 193 Years of Continuous Service. Label has Whitall Tatum (WT stylized logo)1806 - 1938 (in red), Armstrong Cork (stylized A logo) 1938 -1969 (in green), Kerr Glass (kpp stylized logo) 1969-1983(in green), Foster Forbes(stylized logo in red) 1983-1995 (in blue), and Ball Foster Glass (stylized logo)1985-1999(in dark navy blue). Has a little blur smear to Words Ball, Foster 1969 and 1995. Reverse of Bottle embossed in glass To Our Friends & Co-Workers who gave So Much Thank You. Reverse label reads in black "On March 13, 1999 Glass Production ceased at this facility in Millville, New Jersey. After 193 years the fires are out, but the flame lit by the workers will not perish from memory. Farewell to All......" Bottle measures 9" tall clear glass with applied labels.
