I just buffed these puppies with a slurry of tin oxide and H20. Compare them with the photos I posted on Sept 8 when I had just found them. Now they are beautiful pieces, although common and not actually worth much. The real value comes in the colorful display, and the memories of the hunt. From what I've seen (and bought) on E-bay, not enough sellers know how to clean or buff off the glaze on insulators -- a three or four inch cloth buff wheel on a bench grinder / lathe with Bendick polish or a slurry of tin oxide removes all of that 95 years of grime and oxide.
