The only embossing on this porcelain pin base appears to be the number 4100 embossed in an oval incused on the base. See [id=362582954]. I'm not sure of the last zero in the number as the embossing gets weaker at that end, but that's what it looks like to me. The piece is a sort of a mottled peanut butter color, and the only damage is a tiny flake off the bottom edge that can be seen in the pics. It is 3 7/8" tall by 3" wide at the base. I looked back through the prior sales folder here, but didn't find any like this that sold previously, so under the assumption it is uncommon I'm gonna ask $30 shipped in the US for it (no PayPal), and maybe somebody who knows porcelain more than I do can tell me if I'm off base here. Thanks for looking.

Well, I guess I wasn't too far off base, at least not too high, 'cause it sold at my asking price to a well-known porcelain expert within hours. Maybe I shoulda asked for more. 8^P
