Here is an updated look at my Hemingray 42's in carnival. One is from a local insulator dump & the other was purchased. You are looking at 2 versions, One in a light but full carnival coating & the other is a more typical example of how they were coated, Carnivalized at the base, clear at the dome. Previous versions of this style I found were very dark orange to mark a specific circuit, Specially ordered most likely.... These of course I may never find duplicates of. I would like to try to collect as many examples as I can for my collection, The first insulators I ever found and what started my interest in the hobby was the original 3 dark and 5 light carnival 42's I found and this is why these are so special to me. The one on the left is the original ''dug up'' 42 displayed on it's good side, The opposite side has base damage and has a few missing drip points. The piece on the right is my new example and is possibly one of the best examples known to exist, Factory mint from base to dome!
