Up for sale is a true rarity - a Canadian CD 154 with any sort of junk whatsoever in the glass. Truely, this generation of glass in Canada was of extremely high quality, and any inclusions are extremely rarely encountered thus. This piece has a 3/4" black carbon bubble in the skirt on the right hand side of the piece, with a 2" wide milky swath coming off of it and running upwards into the skirt. Having looked over quite a few Diamond and Diamond P CD 154s over the years, this is the only one I've ever come across with any amount of junk. There are [id=1581826;a couple around], but you'll have a hard time ever finding one for sale! This one is even the more scarcely encountered Diamond P embossing. The glass is a nice peach colour, which really accentuates the black carbon bubble. The condition of this piece is good. There is a 1/8" crescent ping on the right side of the skirt, and another on the upper right hand wire ridge. I'm asking $40.00 U.S. plus shipping for this tough piece. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. All the best! |
