Was only able to make it to Springfield for the Friday portion, but had a great time! Aside from wanting to make it to the show to pick up some new insulators and meet some folks, I was also heading up there to get some opinions on the color of this HGCO 162 [080]. Most everyone I asked at the Springfield show said they thought it was off-clear to clear, with obvious milk and green swirls. I think this insulator is pretty neat for the fact that the color changes so much with different lighting and angles. Anyways, Shaun Kotlarsky took this great photo of my insulator during the show. Thanks Shaun, and thanks to those that offered their opinion.

I picked us some common, but new to me insulators, and had a great time meeting some people. Looking forward to Nationals next year.
