Went to a Auction, found the oldest Insulator Collector, This is Jerry and he's 92 years old. I was walking back to my truck and saw this old fellow with insulators in his rear basket peddling past the driveway and I asked where he found them. He said the RR crews were tearing down the lines a while ago and he picked them up. I asked if he had more and said yes . He has collected since his teens, but only what he found locally and didn't know there were other junk collectors out there that liked these items. He would not show or tell me his address, but he lived in town. He was impressed that I would pay for them and had so many. He said he had only a small amount.

The ones he had were common but the H.G.Co CD 162 was slightly different with snow and fizzy like, not real heavy though. Common power but an unusual b hive with a top lip. Also a hem 20 with at least, what 16-20 dots on the end of the date.

I just had to ask for his photgraph though, sweet old guy!
