There must have been multi millions of these post 1938 CD 155 WT's made, and all that I have seen, except this one are hospital operating room sterile of any defects in the glass. This champagne pink tinted WT has 3 big bubbles(considered big for anything WT/Armstrong made) in the skirt glass. 1 bubble over the S is a small pinhead size and the other 2 to the right of it are about 1/3rd the size of a small garden pea. Despite all of the 155 WT's I have tossed to the side over the past 3 decades, I have never seen any bubbles in these 155's bigger then a pinpoint bubble. So, while this isn't any Emminger discovery, it still was a pleasant surprise when I cleaned it off. Something out of the ordinary in a plain Jane insulator. |
