With autumn right around the corner I thought it would be neat to share this country road scene with you. I believe this image goes back to the 1950s or thereabouts. I do not know the location. Note the two-crossarm "alley arm" open wire telephone pole in the background.

To me, it really doesn't get too much better than this. Imagine strolling along here on a cool, crisp, brilliant blue-sky day with autumn colors and serenity abound and surrounding you. Along with glass insulators sparking in the sunshine through the trees ;-) An example of what Heaven must be like ;-)
