This rather crooked phone lead had three 10-pin crossarms along it. Given its rather primitive appearance one wonders what re-used and/or non-standard insulators might have been used along this route? Very interesting glass communications insulators (and some of our hobby's unique ones) native to Pennsylvania quickly come to mind, at least for me ;-)
