Shown is a vintage General Electric Type I-14 watthour meter with metal cover. Meter mechanism is in great condition and runs well. It also has the PG&E label. I guess the metal covered meters must have been used in an area prone to vandalism or they were used in an industrial setting. Maybe someone can shed a little light on this subject.
