Here I am offering a small Russian piece that is a deep burgundy color. This is a very strong red shade with purple tone to it, and as shown it shows the red tones very well in a window. Collage shows this backlighted, in direct, full sunlight, and in my window in the house. The color is very pronounced in a window and when backlighted, it's dark but passes light. Also to note, when backlighted, the red isn't *quite* as strong hued as it is when in a window. It looks more of a rose' red. The only issues with this is 2 tissue thin, flat base resting edge slices that have no visual affects when displaying this and a few tiny fleebites. More photos available on request.
