I am pretty sure that this gentleman isn't very happy with his local electric company. Hurricane Issac trashed through Lousiana and nearby states causing many poles like this to split or topple. Methinks that this customer is revising his plan about buying an all-electric vehicle after this incident. I also seriously doubt he collects (or has the slightest interest in) insulators and/or pole line hardware.
