Started my past Labor Day weekend going to a yard sale that had insulators listed in the ad at Craigslist. The woman must have had at least 100 common insulators that she was mis-informed of their value over the phone. She was starting at $8 a piece. Managed to talk her down some after asking if she would reduce the price if I purchased a good number. We made our deal when I agreed to her counter offer. She asked me to tell all collectors in the area I knew that she had more for sale. Don't think any would be interested in any I left behind. I had picked out the best of the best of the commons she had as you can see in my pic. All but one was purchased at that yard sale. The Brookfield Blotout on the right side was found at a flea market. To me it was worth all the extra gas exspense to find. It is a number two out of 16 I now have that have a straighter skirt. The one I had had a 00 dome and the new addition has a X2 dome. From the yard sale there are a bunch (6) of CD 147's. All but one or two have nice amber swirling. The CD 162.1's all the way to the left have snow and junk. Also purchased were 3 Lynchburg CD 162's with SDP's. One of those have the logo on the top. But the most interesting insulator out of the lot is a CD 145 Brookfield creb. One like I have never seen before made by Brookfield or any other maker. I will be posting a pic in the questions asked album of the different feature. Don't think you can make out what that feature is in my pic. Whatever I'm talking about may start a new search by collectors with special interest. Please have a look at my question in the questions asked album if you wante to know What's Up You All!!!
