A slough in south-central ND filled up with water so the DOT rerouted the highway around the slough; the original roadbed is barely visible beneath the water (the long trail of whitecaps). The 41.6kV transmission line for the area also had to be moved up out of the slough too; the original poles followed the edge of the slough before it greatly increased in size. Anyone willing to make a trip up to ND before winter and get about 12 four-disk strings of JDs just needs a good steady boat and some tools and they can be had. Look how high up the the water got to the abandoned pole in front.
