Though getting good shots being the insulator is so crude. Has two half dime or bigger bubble right up front above the weakly embossed B. One is high on the skirt and the other to the right behind the base of the dome. A dome that leans to the right. There is also many other abnormal bubble in the same area that refused to become straw lines before the glass cooled. Next to the snake looking staws lines on the dome is a staple shaped bubble. Elsewhere this insulator has some junk and a really cool arching amber swirling in the dome. The color is dark green. Me thinks the quality of some of Brookfields glass was poor. I've seen the same dullness this one has on the surface on other CD numbers as well. Don't know if a little tumbling or a good strong acid bath would improve the surface of this one. Other then that this insulator has a small tight cluster on the side of the dome maybe just over an inch to the left of the lower big bubble high on the skirt. On the other side of the dome from what is picture in my pic there is what lloks like a tear drop bump. Maybe 1/2" long. The left side of the bump has what looks like a deep wire dig but is actually an open bubble that would have been where the tear droped from. Going for $50 shipped to your door within the lower 48 US States if your email is the first. $55 if you are a Canadian collector for this very unusual piece. From my own experience getting ahold of any other coolers beside aqua and blue aquaa in this CD is very though task. I accept Pay Pal in a non fee mode as well as personal checks and money orders. Email me with any questions. Thanks or more pics. |
