While driving East to the Yuhas Montana swap last weekend I spotted this major encroachment on the RRX power circuit. Looks to be a large Osprey nest that has completely encapsulated this pole and its insulators. The Hewlett dead end strains and the lightning arresters are barely visible thru the wooden stick Osprey nest. Located between Missoula and Helena, Montana along Hwy. 12. Closer views to follow.

At some time in the past this pole more than likely had a pot that provided the correct voltage to this signal station. its long gone now and the Osprey nest would have been removed if the top circuit was still hot. Power now comes across Highway 12 from the muncie top line shown in the previous photos.
