The electric utility that served this Boston suburb was Boston Edison. They used glass insulators almost exclusively and to this day (NStar who now is the electricity supplier) transfers glass from the old pole to the new one whenever low-voltage pintype construction is concerned. Most of their glass insulators are common CD 164s, 165.1 (Whitall Tatums) and CD 167 (clear Armstrong's). I do not know of any Boston-area glass production found upon their circuits except for a very few Pennycuicks. The early New England/Boston glass found its way onto area fire alarm circuits instead.
