From the Library of Congress; found online. A view of the Gregg Shoals plant and transmission line near Lowndesville, SC that operated from 1907 to 1954, according to the L.O.C. The dam is now submerged beneath Lake Russell, completed in late 1984. Parts of the transmission line still stand and have already been posted to ICON by me, Andrew Mika, and Jeff Kraemer.
