Patent Dec 19 1871 CD 132 [030] . This picture shows the best part of the milk stringer. But it really doesn't do it justice because it can't show its three dimensional nature. You have to see it in person. If you look carefully, you can see that the string starts on the left in the dome; where it is more diffuse; and ends up on the right side in the lower part of the dome. In addition, there is diffuse milk at the top of the pinhole. The added bonus is the underpour on half the base which causes it to lean. In remarkably good shape. There are four tick marks; but two of them might be open bubbles. Frankly, you never notice them since your eye is always drawn to the milk. The base and pinhole are in excellent shape (see second photo). Much better than average. If you like this sort of stuff, you won't be disappointed. $75.00 plus actual shipping.
