I hope you guys will not be bored seeing mainly porcelain, but what can I do if so many interesting insulators are porcelain? This week I'm showing you the ancestor of all the Paderno insulators. This one was rescued from the Paderno power plant this spring. It still has its original collar and a section of copper wire. This insulator was made in 1898 and was sitting there since then. It is a single piece of porcelain, but in the same line two parts Padernos were used, and also M-2150s, both developed by the same engineer.
