Southern New Jersey has been hit with a number of severe storms this summer, and it's hard to go anywhere without seeing a line crew at work repairing the damage Mother Nature has inflicted. My work today took me along some of backroads in the heart of Salem County farmland this afternoon, and I noticed a downed pole laying at the edge of a cornfield. After visiting the job site, I returned to the pole to find this insulator attached. I don't really collect porcelain, and I have no idea what company this logo represents, but I can tell you it was a lot of fun unscrewing an insulator from a peg for the first time in few years.
