The bottom photo is from the USC Digital Library and was taken in the 60s-70s. The large SC Electric & Gas Co. pole has a decorative hanging street light, metal arms and a clear Pyrex, my guess, a CD 325. The top photo was taken by Google Street View at the same intersection in August 2007 with the old street light replaced along with all the insulators but still the same pole, leaning a bit more!
