About 9 months ago I got a tip about a few stoage sheds that existed back in the 1920's but were removed sometime at the end of WW2, so the gentleman who gave me the tip is in his late 70's never saw them himself but got the info from his parents who would be around 102 if they were alive. Along with my 3 boys we looked over the RR map and the area he told us. We also worked on a hunch that the sheds were equi distant from the center of the 16 mile RR. The other thing that helped us was we knew a few key areas that we found groups of insulators on or near the surface. We ended up finding them about 1-11/2 ft below the surface. The help was using a metal detector. The wire wrap and shed nails were enough to give the hiding place away. We ended up pulling 34 pieces out of the ground. The find had the following glass insulators.CD 152- CD 121-CD 122-CD 104-CD 102-CD 259-CD 294 CD 280. We are now looking for the 2 other sheds? We had a lot of yelling and screaming when we knew what we found.
