This was an approximate 10-mile offshoot of the mainline RR that went from Boston to Kingston, MA (now used for commuter rail). On the left is a single-crossarm telegraph line that connected with Boston and the rest of the world. The two-pin pole line on the right likely was a power circuit. This was owned by the Abington and Rockand Electric Light and Power Company. They were formed in 1891 and served several local towns and puchased by the Brockton (MA) Edison Company in the late 1940s.
