This group came from a remote Northern Ontario line built between 1905-1906 and abandoned since the late 1920's. The M-3066's are all marked VICTOR and come in a variety of glazes from brown to a nice light sandy tan, very similar to the earlier Fred Locke M-3060's. They were used with pinbases mounted below, identical to the unit advertised on page 337 of Elton Gish's Multipart Porcelain Insulators book. Several have rather prominent and detailed finger prints on the top shells. Unfortunately many of these were damaged by cement expansion and the fall onto the rough rocky terrain of the Canadian Shield; this group survived thanks to a swampy/marshy region the line passed through. Telegraph lines below were supported with aqua CD 102 Diamonds along with BTC blot out examples.
