Offered for sale is a Fleron radio strain that apparently has never seen service--it's still in the box! The insulator is crystal clear, embossed FLERON across one side of the middle rib, and other than the ground end from manufacture, I can't find a mark on it. The box is not so mint, but it's still very nice. There is printing on every surface. As shown in the photo, one side says, "Fleron / GLASS INSULATOR / M. M. FLERON & SON, Inc. / TRENTON, N. J U. S. A". [Note no periods after J and A] The next side reads, "ALSO MAKERS OF THE FOLLOWING WELL- / KNOWN Fleron RADIO SPECIALTIES: / PORCELAIN INSULATORS LIGHTENING ARRESTORS / PORCELAIN SOCKETS LEAD-IN BUSHING / STAND-OFF INSULATORS VERNIER ADJUSTERS / COMPLETE AERIAL OUTFITS". The next side is the same as the first, and the fourth side says, "Fleron GLASS INSULATORS REDUCE / ANTENNA LEAKAGE TO A MINIMUM / AND IMPROVE BROADCAST RECEPTION / BY DELIVERING A MAXIMUM OF / ANTENNA ENERGY TO YOUR SET / They are unaffected by all extremes of weather". On each end flap is printed: "ONE NO. 33 / Fleron / GLASS / INSULATOR." Finally on one of the inner end flaps is the number "33".
