Blue EIN 180. Rear embossing clearly reads 22, 1870 / PAT. FEB. 22, 1870 / JAN. 25 " / " " 14, 1879. Very crisp and defind embossing on both crowns for one of these oldies but goodies. I think this particular CD 126.3 is the tallest I've ever owned. The threads a off centered and crudely made. The glass would be mint if not for a flea bite just above the wire groove about centered on the rear side. There is also a crack in the dome most likely caused by the lineman over torqueing the insulator onto its pin. You can see that crack on the left side of my pic, however, on a shelf it is much harder to see unless the inulator is turned to view on one of the side or the other side where the mold lines are located. Lastly there is some light wear in the wire groove and a couple spots of that wear has a little rust penatration. All the mentioned details only makes it sound like this insulator is in worse shape then it is. It is actually in very good shape for one of these. Asking $27.50 shipped. Will combine shipping with other insulators I have listed for sale here at Icon. Have a look. Accept Pay Pal in a non-fee mode, personal checks and money orders as payment. Will assist other countries outside of USA with shipping cost. |
