I went looking for insulators along the NS low grade line in Cordorus Furnace PA, and my heart skipped a beat when I found this horiffic scene. When the MOW removed the old catenary poles, they apparently smashed up the suspensions to remove the metal housings. I can't even imagine how many insulators were destroyed when the line was removed. If only the crew knew the history and value of them. What a shame
