This piece is a tough in between color but there is no doubt this Brookfield is stunning in sunlight. The color is subdued in the photo but I can say the piece glows much more in the sun or a light case but is tough to capture the true hue of it on my camera. I've been told this is yellow green by some but many people also say there is a tinge of olive green in the piece and I would say that is true. This piece has a [450] embossing with a big, strongly embossed, "3" on the crown. There are some nice annealing lines in the skirt and pieces of firebrick to add to the character and damage is minimal. There is a bruise (see photo) under the front wire groove, and a small chip under the rear wire-groove which is very smooth and may very well be an open bubble.
