My father, who as a Lineman in 1948 when I was born, had a bunch of these around. I remember him packing marbles in them and my mother used them for Girl Scout game parts and camping things. What were they originally used for? It measures 6-3/4" wide and 8-3/4" long, has a riveted key ring in the lower right-hand corner, zippered top and a 3-3/4" stitched loop. It's a mustard color, and reads "TRI-COUNTY TELEPHONE COMPANY" and "Anniston Bag Company, P.O. Box 1111, Anniston, ALA."
