Really nice colored purple California CD 161 insulator here. Has more of a light plum color then straight up purple. Whatever the true color is it is a very pretty one. Thought this insulator was a 162 when I puchased it. Seems the slope of the dome isn't quite as steep as most I've had. Anyhow, this insulator displays mint from the front. I took the pic the way I did to show two details. One is a minnow shape or looking wierd bubble about centered in the dome. There is another minnow down and to the right about the same size. Looks like they are chasing a couple other larger bubbles (food) down into the deeper waters. The other reason I took my pic with the insulator positioned like it is was to show the side flake ship on the rear side of the inner skirt.
