Been bugging this guy about insulators for years. He rents an old house to sell his antiques out of. He also has a large booth in the antique center as well. Last weekend my wife handed me down her Iphone 3G and was nice enough to transfer my contacts out of my discarded razr. One of my fisrt messages was from the bugged man telling me he has a box of insulators. Yesterday I visited his booth but found no box. Instead I found this blue Hemingray-50 two pice with a bunch of other more common insulators which I didn't purchase on a shelf. Will be calling him back after Easter passes to see if he has another lot in a box. Happy Easter everone in Icon land and Happy Hunting!! Up Date : Attempted to contact the antique house owner with a little guilt Easter Sunday morning. Wasn't surprised nobody answered. I was surprised later on when I cell phone rung. Took the caller only a few second to recall who I was after I told him I was the guy that always bugged him about whether or not he had any insulators for sale. Anyhow, we talked for a few minutes and I told him I purchased the two piece Hemingray in the pic on this page out of his booth. Also, I would have stopped by his building but it didn't look like anyone was there. Said he wouldn't be there today either but he had put a crate of insulators outside his building. I would be welcomed to come look at them later in the day anyhow. He'd also be bringing a few more buckets or crates down at another time. [id=338547496] if you would like to see the three insulators I did come home with. Can't wait to see what I find on my next trip. These and more came from a house the present seller was cleaning out. he believed the past owner was a colletor. I think he was correct!! |
