I'm forced to let go of two of my favorite early power porcelain insulators, but I'm glad I got to own them. The orangish one is embossed with the large VICTOR insulator logo, thus being produced around 1908-1920 and is in great condition. Keep in mind that both of these are glazewelded from two parts and are very small, only three and a half inches in height. The darker one is embossed VICTOR, which indicates a manufacture date of within a couple of years of 1905, and has a real crude drippy glaze, and condition is about perfect. Elton's book only reports two of this earlier model. $75 and $90, plus $9 each for shipping. UPDATE The earlier dude on the left has found a new hotel. |
