To my knowledge there is only one of these known. Measures 2 x 2.75" tall. Stamped with Victorian era marking: The "Barrier" Insulator. Made by previously unknown Junction Engineering Co, 149th Junction Rd, London. Prov. PAT. No. 22685. Inside insulator has what looks like a mini johnny ball with copper wire wrapped around it with a thicker wire protruding out of the top with a loop on the end. There are open holes on top and bottom of the barrel shaped insulator. Item has cracked and been reglued but displays great. No chips and only small light surface scuff marks. First email gets this rare insulator for only $400 plus postage. PayPal okay. Thanks! |
