Today I went exploring in Pleasant Prairie, WI, to see how far this project has progressed. This continues the thread that started here [id=336677654].

The removal begins at County Road ML north of Russell, IL. The line is still intact south of ML. This is a view looking south from the ML crossing.

Northbound, the line has been removed for about a half mile, then it resumes for a bit, then removal continues north past Bain Station Road. That's as far north as I looked.

It appears that the removal is being done by a crew with a truck, as the part they skipped is swampy with no vehicle path next to the railway roadbed. There are tire tracks in last year's dead grass and weeds where the removal has been completed.
