Hello all,

Here's a photo showing the radical differences between Aussie threads and pins and North American threads and pins.

The Aussie pin shown has standard threads (CD 422, 423, U-1491 etc.).

TRIVIA: There are at least five thread types/sizes used on Aussie telegraph and phone lines (including US and UK threads)!!
