Here's a very attractive dark emerald green with amber swirls glass insulator embossed PAT'D NOV 23D 1896. Threaded pinhole is rough on one end including a short crack that extends from pinhole to lower wire groove (partially visible in photo) and light wear and minor scuffs from years of service. Other small annealing lines and surface cracks inside thread area which is common for an insulator made during this period and is not considered damage. These were found in mines and also could have been used on duplex pins for telephone/telegraph lines as well. Much tougher color to find than the dark olive green.
