This picture shows eight "noser" insulators mounted on a small sub-station in the Italian mountains. Guido and I managed to remove four of them from the lower bracket by sawing the pins off. Maybe its hard to see on the photo, but these insulators have a nice rounded, streamlined outer skirt combined with a quite big and massive nose. This was a very good find, and also of a totally "new", unknown style to Guido. This means that the total number of this insulator in collectors hands are four, rendering it a very rare one. A truly excellent find!!
