Here's a rarely seen two piece umbrella shaped insulator that is stamped in green ink with S in a triangle. Recovered in Colombia but now known to have been made in Manheim, Germany. Manufacturer is Stotz y Cie Elektrizitats-Gesellschaft m.b.H. These "hats" (in different variations) are also known to have been made by Hermsdorf (Germany) and an unknown manufacturer in France. To see example from 1928 French Electrical supply catalog [id=330748602].

Top piece inner threading has typical light chipping and bottom piece has small chip (better than most) on top male thread but will display mint (nearly all recovered had damage due to heavy gauge wire and wind that blew on high rooftops where they were installed).

First email gets this unusual two piece insulator! Thanks
