Here's a cool dryspot porcelain insulator made in Germany by Closter-Veilsdorf. It has the tell-tale factory small hole inside the inner skirt and another coming up through recessed dome to allow a wire to be shielded from the rain providing a "dryspot". The dome is threaded to accommodate an umbrella to cover the insulator. Usually these were made with inexpensive tin type material. Funny thing is I saw one of these in use in Colombia (complete with tin umbrella) and thought due to its crudity it was a modern homemade jobber when in fact it dates to WW2 or earlier. Comes with original pin and is incuse marked 'CV". Only two small inner dome flakes (easily VNM shape).

First email gets this unusual insulator for killer price of only $25 plus actual postage. Thanks
