Up for sale is a great old pair of crudies from the CPR here in S.W. Ontario. Both of these pieces were picked by hand, probably more than 6 years ago now, by yours truely. Neither one is exactly a "normal" N.E.G.M.CO. CD 145. The piece on the left is a classic light aqua colour (the most common colour these come in), but with a nice thickness to the glass. This one has about 1 1/8" of dome glass, a nice crisp, sharp upper wire ridge, some nice potstones and bubbles throughout, and even a bit of a lean of the dome to the left. The piece on the right is a bit of a darker shade of "tealy" aqua, and with a great little amber tadpole in the rear crown that is a little over 1/2" long. Great straw marks and a nice hairlip below the embossing on the front skirt. All in all, two nice pieces!

The dome-glass piece is in very good shape for one of these. Base chips are apparently quite common on NEGMCO 145s, and this piece only has a few small ones. There are 5 in total, but two are around 1/8" wide and are of barely any depth, while the other three are around 1/4" long, but none are wider than 1/8". As well, there is a 1/8" faint fisheye on the rear skirt. It sounds worse than it is. The tealy coloured piece has two base flakes in the front - one 3/8" by 1/4", and the other 1/2" by 1/8". These do not show especially prominently while displaying the piece from the front.

The tealy coloured example itself is a tough colour, while the character imparted to the two pieces by dome glass and amber tadpole makes this a pair of great examples!
