If you have ever seen these pieces you know how heavy they are. I like the to know my piece was used, although most collectors like mint pieces. This has such a deep wire mark in the groove, the top of the pinhole is maybe 1/16th inch thick!!!! It almost feels like you can touch fingers from the groove to pinhole!!! This is from almost 100 years of service and the vibration of the train... love this piece!!!
