While hunting the old AT&T toll lead through far Northern California some years back we came across a recent large wildfire burn area at the bottom of a canyon. The PG&E transmission lines had been destroyed and recently rebuilt. Under a huge pile of debris at the bottom of this canyon a large brown OB transmission insulator was seen poking out of the pile with the this brass canyon clamp. We rescued it! JSIC club members present were Howard Banks, Kenny Klein and the Midster. |
