This new power line was installed this Fall to increase power to an industrial complex south of Tillamook, OR. The part of the line shown here was built new along the railroad right of way as a short cut to an existing line on McCormick Loop Rd. which would be out of this foto to the left (North). The line then turns west and is built new over an older existing line along the road to the point of connection with another major distribution line. The line is framed on the poles with a newly adopted "bird proof" spec. using 10 foot arms mounted lower than normal on the pole to allow 60 inches between the phase wires.
